The war on woke is a right wing invention

A wise person once said that there is peace in our times, then prepared for the inevitable war that was brewing on the horizon. One does not live in a state of peace and expect that peace to be indefinite, as there are always parasites seeking to tear down the walls of tranquillity. Right wing ideology, as in reactionary ideas of society, can be traced back as far as ancient Athens, Babylon, and Assyria, yet it was in the post-Napoleonic world that it was truly weaponised as tool to obtain power. Those who seek to tear down peace, to sow discord, and wield hate against minorities do so in the fullness that those who listen to them are afraid and desperate for answers. The war on woke is a confected creation of the far right, fuelled by those clinging to power in the face of a liberalising world. Their pax is the pax terror, a perpetual state of fear designed to keep their audience as wolves attacking anything different. This pax terror eats anyone who dares offer unity and pluralism as the road to a better society.

Attacking minorities has always been the tool of the oppressor, just read the bible to see how majoritarian forces used fear to keep their populations in check. Fear of the outsider is not something we are all conscious of, yet it seeps into everything to do with all our societies.
